Take Home Device FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can all students take home a device?

Students in grades 7 – 12 will be taking home iPads from the start of school. There are times when devices will be withheld due to displinary reasons.

Do I have to use the school provided bag?

When in the school building the school bag must be used. If you want to use a different bag to take the computer home in that bag must be approved before using it.

Does it cost money to take home a device?

It does not cost any money to take home the laptop. ALL students that are in 7th through 12th grade will be charged a technology usage fee. This is a part of instructional fees.

What happens if the device is not working or is damaged?

Please notify a member of the technology team as soon as possible so that the problem can be fixed. Any damage to the computer due to drops, liquid, abuse, food, or any negligent or accidental damage will be the responsibility of the student whether at home or at school.
